The sign in a small Dublin health cafe read. No way, I thought? I'll have a bit of that! and soon I noticed that I was hardly ever sick and a noticeable increase in energy that had been at an all time low after having 2 children.
I started growing and juicing my own wheatgrass, but the mess, time, and cleaning (hello, toothbrush in the juicer!) made it unsustainable. I tried frozen shots, but kept forgetting to take them out of the freezer and saw how quickly it can decompose. Powdered versions didn't have the same effect. I discovered that many of the enzymes and nutrients are destroyed during the heating and dehydrating process.
